FORGIVENESS GROUP.ORG

The Highsmith Group serves mega churches in America with 10,000 or more members through our exclusive Forgiveness™ Bracelet as a fundraising strategy.
The Forgiveness Bracelet is a valued way to execute a fundraising strategy which can generate funds from as little as $935 to $220,000, or more based on five quantity levels.
In addition, we work with churches to help them plan and execute fundraising strategies for their respective churches. This is a FREE service for participating churches

THE MISSION

Women who have been abused by their spouse and living in poverty is our platform and mission to restore a woman’s self esteem wearing a free Forgiveness™ Bracelet. It is our small way to Pay It Forward because so many women are demeaned by their spouse and have lost their self-esteem. And the church should serve as a safe place for them. Forgiveness and abuse are inextricably linked, and we have named this new, non-profit company Forgiveness Group.org[1].  Note: This new entity is TEMPORARLY ON HOLD pending IRS 501 (c)(3) Application Approval

To establish trust in the Forgiveness Group.org, the parent company, Highsmith Group has formed a Board of Directors to oversee our plan to give Forgiveness Bracelets free to women who are abused by a spouse through participating churches. The two green crystals on either side of the clasp function as a reminder to: GO into the world with LOVE and FORGIVENESS in your heart. Every person, regardless of their environment, must deal with how they view and participate in this crazy world we live in, also known as ‘life’s stories’.

THE MATH:

For those who care to know – here is the math behind the MISSION of the Forgiveness Group.org:

We are using OUTREACH magazine report on the Top 100 Largest Churches because of the accuracy of their information. The top 100 churches have a combined total attendance of 1,399,849. Nationally, on average, women make up 50.5% percent of total attendees, or about 706,924 female members attending the reporting churches.

The U.S. Census Bureau reports that 11.6 percent of the total population are living at or below the poverty level. This means there are 82,003 women of the total attendees.
Finally, statistics reveal one in three women living in this category will suffer abuse by their spouse and identified as a Battered or Abused Women.

This means there are approximately 27,334 women, spread over these one hundred churches who are not safe and whose self-esteem is significantly impacted by their life circumstances.
The goal is to help them rebuild their self-esteem by giving them a free Forgiveness™ Bracelet to wear. “It’s not the cost of the bracelet; it is the meaning. (see p.3)” Eight percent (8.0%) of bracelet purchases will be donated to participating churches in the form of free bracelets.
In the end, we are all sinners, and “one woman abused by their spouse, is one too many” [This problem is enormous, and as a small company we will play a small part through the meaning of forgiveness, starting with these women forgiving themselves. Rebuilding a Woman’s Self-Esteem is the Mission of the Forgiveness Group.org working in conjunction with participating churches

THE FORGIVENESS GROUP.ORG HAS TWO PARTS:

PART ONE

FORGIVENESS GROUP.ORG  ♦GIVING

Fundraising and Marketing Program (F&M).
This is a multi-year project and one we are committed to achieve. When an order is received, distribution of the Forgiveness bracelets will be made final distribution will be at the discretion of the participating church and its staff.

PART TWO

INDIVIDUAL & CORPORATE PHILANTHROPY: TEMPORARLY ON HOLD PENDING IRS 501 (c)(3) Application Approval
The objective is to raise up to $50,000 toward the Ultimate Goal, the remaining 25,744 bracelets are valued at approximately $725,000 dollars. 100% of funds donated will be applied to the purchase of bracelets that will be distributed to participating churches. This is NOT a minor problem, and ‘one abused person, is one too many.’ For a company, our size means we will only play a small part.
Once we are approved as a 501(c)(3), we will solicit funds from people of faith and companies that support the Mission of the Forgiveness Group.org.

INDIVIDUAL & CORPORATE PHILANTHROPY:
“Every act of generosity is important to women less fortunate and in building a better
world for us all.”
